Doing good for people, planet and stock partners

As a for-profit commercial retailer, with its network of Company Shop ‘surplus supermarkets’, surplus which would have been wasted is redistributed and sold at discounted prices to its members who meet a specific criteria to join. The commercial arm of the business then supports and invests in its not-for-profit social enterprise, a multi-functional social supermarket, Community Shop, which aims to tackle the root causes of food insecurity in the UK’s most deprived communities by providing access to deeply discounted food and essentials, whilst delivering life-changing personal development programmes.
