Protecting revenues and extracting maximum value
Company Shop Group purchases surplus stock from the FMCG supply chain, providing a commercial return to partners. Given its national scale, infrastructure and technical capabilities, the Group can handle virtually any surplus stock which can either be eaten, worn or used.
The stock is then redistributed across a network of membership-only Company Shop stores at heavily discounted prices. Membership is open to people working in the FMCG supply chain, emergency services and NHS – helping to stretch hard working family budgets.
Delivering transformative social impact
Stock can also be donated by supply chain partners to help power our award-winning social enterprise Community Shop, where members can purchase deeply discounted products. Members of Community Shop stores all live in low income communities and receive some form of welfare support.
Alongside providing food access to those most in need, we deliver life-changing personal development programmes supporting members to live more fulfilling lives, helping to build stronger individuals and more confident communities.
