Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC)

The Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC) provides a strategic and proactive lead on environmental, energy and other sustainability issues that impact members UK operations and competitivity. This covers a broad range of topics, with both long-term and short-term horizons.

Demonstrating leadership in these areas involves going beyond regulatory compliance and is the driver behind FDF's sustainability strategy known as Ambition 2030, launching later in 2024 and which the Committee oversees.

The Committee is currently seeking a chair and meets 3 times per year.
