We work together to grow and invest in our communities, delivering against five key priorities:

1. Growing a resilient industry

We advocate for a positive business environment that supports investment and productivity, promoting a coherent trade strategy, supporting employment and skills policy.

2. Building a sustainable food system

Through our flagship sustainability strategy, Ambition 2030, we’re helping members to create a more sustainable food system that delivers net zero across the supply chain, restores nature, halts deforestation, tackles food waste and supports a circular packaging system.

3. Driving a circular economy

We work with a wide range of partners to create a fully circular economy for packaging in the UK, by reducing waste and securing efficient and effective EPR and DRS schemes.

4. Delivering a trusted food system

Our regulatory trackers and guidance on food safety and authenticity, support companies navigating our complex regulatory landscape and help compliance. We advocate for regulation based on robust science and evidence.

5. Supporting balanced diets

We advocate for the role of companies in supporting people achieve balanced, healthy diets, through supporting healthier product innovation, innovative workplace health initiatives and clear consumer communications. We champion the valuable role of food processing in a safe and secure food supply system.
