Sophie Paveling - Coca-Cola European Partners
Sophie Paveling is an Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Apprentice at Coca-Cola European Partners. Currently in the final year of her apprenticeship, Sophie has made a noticeable impact within the business, driven by her proactive attitude to taking on responsibility and new tasks to further develop her professional skill-set.

She has been involved in several projects over the last four years to help improve efficiencies and reduce waste on site – helping to save £16,000 worth of production costs a day through one installation. She has also been instrumental in reducing water waste on site, ensuring that the business is operating sustainably and minimising the environmental impact of its operations.
Beyond her day-to-day role, Sophie is a fantastic ambassador for apprenticeships. She is part of the 'Tasty Career Ambassador' programme, run by the National Skills Academy and has also represented CCEP at the House of Lords to discuss its 2020 apprenticeship vision. Sophie demonstrates an understanding of the wider dialogue around apprenticeships and how they can impact businesses, the food and drink industry and the wider UK economy as a whole.
