HFSS-compliant chocolate bars

In March 2024, as part of Mondelēz International’s commitment to evolve its product portfolio and offer consumers a greater choice of balanced snacking options without comprising on taste or texture, Cadbury expanded its non-HFSS portfolio with the launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruitier & Nuttier Bars. This platform builds on the Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruitier & Nuttier Trail Mix range which launched in 2023.

Developed by food scientists and nutritionists at Mondelēz International’s Global Centre of Excellence for Chocolate Research and Development in Bournville, the new bars offer a portion-controlled snack of 127 calories (per 30g bar) and are made up of over 70% fruits and nuts. The bars are jam packed with a blend of fruits, crispies, cocoa and crunchy nuts topped with a layer of the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate that consumers know and love.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruitier and Nuttier Bars bring something new and exciting to the healthier snacking bars category. Available in two multipacks, Classic Cadbury and Orange Boost, there will also be a 40g single bar launching in May 2024.
The launch will be supported by a multi-channel campaign including digital, out-of-home, PR and in-store activity, keeping the product at the heart of the creative with a light hearted tone of voice. This area of innovation continues to be a focus for Mondelez International.
