As a caring and values-driven organisation, the company embeds wellbeing at the core of its vision, purpose, policies, and operational practices. Its dedicated Wellbeing Manager works with senior leaders, HR professionals and a network of Wellbeing Champions across the business to deliver and promote training, initiatives and resources that empower colleagues to own and optimise their wellbeing.
The holistic wellbeing strategy comprises of three pillars:
Body helps employees to look after their physical health, fitness and diet. Discounted memberships and fitness classes are offered at onsite gyms in Bournville and Uxbridge, while all employees can access information on how to remain active at home. Health stations are available for employees to create a personalised report to make changes to their lifestyle and habits.
The company runs dedicated menopause and cancer support initiatives, including employee-led discussion groups, a partnership with Cancer Support UK to provide cancer ambassador training, as well as lunch and learns and podcasts.
Mind focusses on mental health and facilitating an open culture and safe environment for all employees to be able to talk about their feelings, wellbeing and personal circumstances.
