Seeking an experienced Membership Account Executive to join the FDF Membership team. A great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated membership professional to join the largest and most influential food and drink trade body in the UK.

We are looking for a target-driven, talented, and proactive Membership Account Executive who wants to gain experience in the heart of the food and drink manufacturing sector. You will be working closely with our Head of Membership in driving retention and recruitment for our Professional and Academic Affiliates.

Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Professional Affiliate and Academic members, acting as their main point of contact for support, engagement, and retention.
- Build connections with members and partners by understanding their needs and providing relevant support.
- Ensure new members have a smooth onboarding experience with introductory meetings.
- Keep CRM data up-to-date and maintain accurate membership records.
- Collaborate with other teams within FDF to maximise member engagement.
- Work with the Head of Membership in developing membership package of support.
- Work with the leadership team on membership-focused events, including FDF regional dinners and annual professional affiliate insights events.
- Maintain a database of prospective members and sponsors.
- Prepare pipeline reports to track potential members and areas of interest.
- Organise events in partnership with professional affiliates such as roundtables, webinars, and seminars.
- Support event delivery and represent FDF at member meetings and events as needed.
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Executive to create content for webinars.
Requirements
The ideal Membership Account Executive is personable, enjoys building relationships, and has a proactive, energetic approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with commercial awareness, are essential.
- Experience in a membership organisation or trade association.
- Skilled at managing multiple accounts and identifying new opportunities.
- Willingness to travel and attend off-site events.
- Knowledge of the food and drink industry is a plus.
- Strong business-to-business customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain diverse working relationships.
- Detail-oriented, with good accuracy and numeracy skills.
- Team player who can process and share information effectively.
