Job Type: 12 Month Fixed-term contract

Location: Central London (Bloomsbury)

Hours: 35 hours per week; hybrid working (2-3 days in the office per week)

Are you passionate about digital content, user experience and analytics? Do you have excellent digital skills and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a Senior Digital Officer to champion our website and CRM, providing support and training for all users. You'll ensure our digital content is user-friendly, optimised for SEO, and adheres to FDF’s style and branding.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Drive online traffic and enhance user experience through strategic digital content.
  • Supervise the review and maintenance of digital content, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and optimized for SEO.
  • Plan, advise on best practices, and execute digital campaigns across email, social, and website.
  • Support the Content Manager and policy teams with sourcing and creating images, videos, and infographics.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot website issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Assist with analytics reporting, CRM administration, and providing support to the Digital Officer.
  • Manage digital analytics, track user journeys, measure conversion rates, and implement website improvements.
  • Provide training and support for CMS, CRM, and email platforms.
  • Develop website, CRM, and email marketing platform protocols and policies.
  • Write and update user guides, provide advice on best practices, and plan and implement staff training.
  • Define and implement administrative standards and processes for CRM inputting.
  • Create and update email templates, support and train users, and advise on mailing best practices.

Requirements

  • An interest in digital marketing and content.
  • Excellent digital skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms, preferably Optimizely.
  • Understanding of relational databases/CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms, preferably Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of HTML.
  • Experience with integrated platforms (CRM, CMS, email marketing solutions).
  • Desirable: Adobe Creative Cloud products, video editing software, understanding of data protection, digital platform integrations, content design principles, web design standards, and web accessibility standards.
