An exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our Associations and Groups team.

Job Type      Permanent, 4 days per week

Location         Bloomsbury, London

Salary             £30k pro-rata (24k) with excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, private healthcare, leisure travel insurance, health & wellbeing allowance, interest-free season ticket loan and cycle-to-work scheme

Hours           28 hours per week; hybrid working (2-3 days in the office per week)

As our team administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting key food industry associations, including the Association of Bakery Ingredient Manufacturers (ABIM), Federation of Bakers (FoB), and British Oat & Barley Millers Association (BOBMA). In this role you’ll be working closely with a small, busy regulatory team providing administrative support including meeting secretariat and finance.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft communications (e.g. agendas, minutes, surveys)
  • Maintain accurate records on a CRM database
  • Support general finance responsibilities, including raising purchase orders and invoicing
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings/conferences
  • Update public website content
  • Design meeting and marketing materials using design software
  • Create and manage social media content and analytics
  • Input and report numerical data using excel
  • Manage travel arrangements for the team
  • Compile monthly timetracker reports across the team
  • Act as the initial contact for company and public queries

Requirements

  • Very good administrative ability, including experience of using a CRM and finance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise work, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft applications and design programmes such as Canva and Adobe as well as a willingness to learn new systems
  • Ideally experience of taking minutes
