In this session the Ecosurety team will cover the mandatory Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) in the context of EPR, what it is, and how obligated businesses should comply.
Those classed as large producers under the EPR regulations will be obligated to assess their packaging against the RAM for all packaging placed on the market from the 1st January 2025 onwards. Small producers may wish to join the webinar if they think they will become obligated as large producers in the future.

Louisa Goodfellow – Policy Manager
As Policy Manager, Louisa provides key support to our team, including preparing reports on environmental policy issues and maintaining awareness of new developments. As such she will often be found coordinating responses to policy consultations, advocating policy positions and providing internal guidance to current legislation.
Alison Appleby - Packaging Sustainability Specialist
With a strong interest in environmental sustainability and the circular economy, Alison joined the Ecosurety team in May 2024 as its first Packaging Sustainability Specialist. Prior to her move to the UK, Alison spent over seven years working in the packaging and recycling sector in Australia, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including government, industry bodies and brand owners of all sizes.
She enjoys training and educating businesses, supporting them to implement sustainability into their packaging initiatives and corporate decision-making.
