Winners of the Food and Drink Federation’s 2023 Awards are announced

At a packed-out ceremony celebrating the excellence, innovation and talent of the UK’s largest manufacturing sector, the food and drink industry, winners of the FDF Awards picked up their trophies.
The awards, hosted by award-winning restaurant critic Grace Dent, recognised the fantastic achievements of companies and individuals, and the positive contributions they have made to the nation over the past year.
22 accolades were handed out to presented to recognise achievements from businesses supporting their community, transforming operations through digital innovation and making ground-breaking steps towards improving the nation’s health.
Chief Executive of the Food and Drink Federation Karen Betts OBE said:
"Congratulations to all our winners. This year we had more than 200 nominees for 22 awards ranging from product innovation to environmental leadership, showcasing the very best of our industry’s talent and achievements. Each shortlist was extremely competitive choosing our winners was a difficult task for our judges.
"The food and drink sector is deeply rooted in communities around the UK, and these awards vividly illustrate how consistently companies are delivering outstanding products to consumers, even during challenging times. Many of our award winners are at the forefront of change in our sector, among other things bringing exciting innovations in food and drink to market and ensuring our products are as good for the planet as they are nutritious and enjoyable.

This year’s awards come at a time when the UK food and drinks industry has faced labour shortages and increased input costs, while maintaining a sustainable and resilient supply chain which provides a wide range of nutritious food UK at affordable prices.
KPMG was not in any way involved with the judging and selection of winners for the FDF Awards 2023.
