FDF CEO Karen Betts OBE wins prestigious Food Industry Champion Award at the Food Management Today (FMT) Food Industry Awards

Karen Betts OBE, FDF Chief Executive, attended the 2024 FMT Food Industry Awards,where she was awarded the prestigious ‘Food Industry Champion’ Award - recognising her notable work, championing the need for a resilient and sustainable food and drink sector in the UK.

Yesterday - 27th June 2024 - Karen Betts OBE, FDF Chief Executive, attended the 2024 FMT Food Industry Awards,where she was awarded the prestigious ‘Food Industry Champion’ Award - recognising her notable work, championing the need for a resilient and sustainable food and drink sector in the UK.

Recipients of the Food Industry Champion award are individuals who has made an outstanding contribution to the UK food industry and in recent years have included Minette Batters, Former NFU President (2023) and Bill Jermey, former CEO of the FTC (now Company Secretary) and IoM Chairman (2022).

The FMT Food Industry Awards are held annually to recognise the work and progress being made by industry. Award winners are based on reader and industry voting via Food Management Today magazine and its website.

This year’s ceremony was hosted by Michel Roux Jr at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
