People and skills
FDF Scotland lead on the delivery of the People and Skills Priority for the Scotland Food and Drink Partnership Strategy, Sustaining Scotland, Supplying the World.
The purpose of this activity is to tackle the workforce challenges across Scotland’s food and drink industry and ensure that businesses can access the skilled employees that they need.
This activity works across 3 key areas:
Attracting new talent – making the sector a career destination of choice #AFutureinFood
Supporting employers – to attract, recruit, retain and upskill their workforce
Providing insight – into current and emerging skill need to support workforce and stakeholder planning
