Mars Wrigley reformulation and new product development

In line with consumer demand and trends, our product range is evolving to better encourage people to consume responsibly. Whether that’s by offering many of our popular brands in smaller portion sizes, or by introducing new lower-sugar products, we are continuing to offer more choice of treats to our customers – while ensuring that they don’t have to compromise on the great taste that they expect from the brands they love.

Our recent innovations have included ‘More Protein’ ranges, containing 30-40% less sugar, and 100kcal Mars, Snickers and Twix bars.

With ambitious plans to continue growing the healthier snacking side of our portfolio, we have also invested in a non-HFSS “Triple Treat” range of Mars, Snickers and Galaxy Bars – high in fibre, fruit and nuts. KIND bars – which are high in nut and fibre content – also come in non-HFSS options.

Added to this is our extensive sugar-free gum portfolio. Studies have shown chewing gum can reduce dental cavities and enhance productivity and cognitive performance.
