Yoplait believes children’s nutrition in the UK is in a perilous state and, unless there is positive change, it will have serious repercussions for generations to come. Over 1 million kids are currently in danger of poor development and growth because they lack key nutrients such as vitamin D, calcium and iodine. All of which are present in fortified kids’ yoghurt.

As the market leader in children’s yoghurt, Yoplait believes in its responsibility to be a positive voice for children’s nutrition in the UK. And as such it launched its UK Mission: To be the positive voice of nutrition for kids’ in the UK. This industry first nutrition campaign includes; colleague nutrition training for all Yoplait business functions, a nutrition report commissioned by Yoplait and written by Dr Carrie Ruxton which highlights the issues and a consumer facing campaign fronted by TV presenter Josie Gibson and her 5 year old son Reggie aimed at educating parents and carers about the nutritional value of fortified kids’ yoghurt.
The campaign has been featured in poster advertising outside supermarkets and has also been supported by parent friendly influencers. Yoplait is taking its mission to key stakeholders including Government and health practitioners throughout 2024 in a bid to change the narrative around total kids’ yoghurts.
